Donald Trump Jr. mocked rapper Eminem on Tuesday for preparing a response in case President Trump reacts to the rapper’s critical new album.

“It’s a bit odd that he’s admitting to having prepared heavily to take on a 70 year old politician. Probably not the best look. So much for freestyle. #WillTheRealLoserPleaseStandUp,” Trump Jr. tweeted, referencing Eminem’s song “The Real Slim Shady.”
Eminem released a new album, “Revival,” last week. The 45-year-old rapper, whose real name is Marshall Mathers, goes after Trump and his family members in multiple tracks.

In one, Eminem calls the president an “Aryan.” In another, he talks about having Trump's daughter, Ivanka, in the trunk of his car, while a third song describes Eminem flirting with first lady Melania Trump.

The rapper told Complex on Monday he's prepared should the president fire back.

“I’ve got lines ready if he says something about me," he said.

“I’m trying to get a message out there about him. I want our country to be great too, I want it to be the best it can be, but it’s not going to be that with him in charge,” he continued.

Eminem previously expressed frustration that Trump had not responded to his performance at the BET Awards in October, in which he bashed the president and his supporters.

Trump is known to occasionally respond via Twitter to high-profile critics.
